As a lad Freddie was proud to own a Harley Davison and his passion has remained. When he discovered that it was possible to have a ‘motorcycle funeral,’ where his coffin would be carried in the especially designed side-car he decided he would have fun planning his own funeral. The service at the crematorium, he decided, would be traditional, which he knew would bring comfort to his family but as a finale he prepared a surprise. He recorded a short sound track of a Harley Davison being kick-started, revving up and finally disappearing into the blue yonder. This would be played as the curtain moved around his coffin, this idea excited him immensely.

His cremated ashes he decided would be combined with those of his beloved black Labrador and scattered by his family while out on a favourite dog walk.
