A miniature garden is a great way to connect with nature and support it in even the smallest spaces. More than this they can become living shrines and alters. Here is a goddess garden I created as an example for you to look at.

Here is a link to a video I made of the garden with poetry and music. https://www.facebook.com/Jackinthegreen.org/videos/283323329972066/

To create natural features you can use glass beads and coloured reindeer moss as with this river. The green moss was from my garden.

As you create your living shrine you could say prayers and blessings. You could include crystals and special items. You could bury a poem or special letter in the container.

If you can’t get outside creating a miniature indoor garden using indoor plants is a great way to keep in contact with the natural world. If you make an outdoors one in a small enough container then you could bring it in for a few days from time time too. That way you can ‘forest bathe’ indoors connecting with nature. They are a wonderful meditation tool as well. All this besides being a special sacred place as an alter or shrine.

All accessories purchased raise money for trees with Ancient and Sacred Trees! 🙂
