Founders Tea Rooms

Our Founders Tea Rooms started in May 2020 as an initiave to share our responses to issues around end of life, death and dying.

Each week we pick a new card from our Last Wishes Cards and each of us share on the card’s theme and what it brings up for each of us.

We upload a new video each week of our conversation related to each card. To be crystal clear we only video the Founders Tea Room – with the five founders – any Last Wishes Tea Room is a safe space for anyone to join and this will never be recorded!

We encourage you to only view and reflect on a few at a time in any one sitting. If you would like your own opportunity to talk about the topics on our Last Wishes Cards or anything else coming up for you about death or dying, please join us in one of our Last Wishes Tea Rooms.

If you would like to take the time to write your own answers to the topics raised on our Last Wishes Cards, please consider our Last Wishes Journal that provides space to consider and journal your responses to each card.

What Our Customers are Saying about Us

Jean leaves no stone unturned, no aspect unexplained – and I had no idea it would be such fun. Under her sensitive guidance and with her extensive knowledge of what is possible… Thank you Jean, for your inspired, humorous and down to earth approach to a subject that is so often considered taboo.

Tricia in her 60s

This workshop is well worth attending as there's a mine of thought-provoking information and Jean facilitates with compassion, warmth and humour.
Marion F in her 50s

Jean's little funeral books are packed with inspiration. The reader will be hard pushed to think of things that are not included and ideas that she does not touch on.

It was a wonderfully inspiring day, that taught me so much. I would recomend it to anyone. It was a real fun day. And at the end of it you come out with something of real value for your loved ones, when they will need it most… If you get the chance to… attend… !

Lionel P in his 60s

Attending a Last Wishes Workshop proved to be one of the best decisions I have made. It opened up the whole subject in such a lovely way and raised my awareness of alternative and loving ways to say goodbye and to honour a loved one. I so wish I had had this knowledge many years ago when my husband died. I would highly recommend this Workshop to every one.
Ella R in her 70s

It was an utter joy to meet you on Saturday and benefit from your knowledge and wisdom...

A Dead Rat. Poem by John Hancock

In the cold grey light of dawn
You lay silent on the path,
Cold in your unexpected end,
Your coat still glossy soft
As if you hadn’t died at all
But had simply stopped to rest.
