Patsy cares deeply about the welfare of the environment, so it is important to her that when the time comes her funeral is as green as possible.
She has chosen to be buried in a natural burial ground where her remains will return to nature with a tree planted to mark her grave. To be buried here, bodies must not be embalmed due to the toxic fluids being harmful to the environment.
Patsy is a chilly mortal, so has chosen a cosy, felt shroud, which is bio-degradable in which she will be laid to rest. She has decided on a graveside ceremony, which she has discussed with a celebrant ensuring that her passions, wishes are honoured.
Whatever the weather, proceedings will take place at the grave side and will include Native American readings and poetry that reflect the beauty of the natural world.
Finally, weather permitting, a graveside picnic will take place, during which memories will be shared with a toast to friendship, Patsy already has the champagne!
